Main Street Bistro in League City, Texas

Updated: Feb 19, 2020

I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Main Street Bistro in League City, Texas.

My Chef Bestie always tells me it’s one of her favorite spots, so I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did. The restaurant is quaint and cozy with a touch of fine dining complete with the linen covered tabletops. The daily specials are written on a chalkboard and the menu has so many appetizing choices, including salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees and so much more.

We ordered Stuffed Mushrooms as an appetizer which consists of oven roasted mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage, roasted garlic, sautéed peppers, fresh herbs, & parmesan cheese. They were so delicious, I could have eaten them all by myself!

For the main course we ordered the Mile High Meatloaf which is a tower of buttered toast, homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes, BBQ sauce, & crowned with golden brown onion rings. We also ordered the Chicken Fried Ribeye which is a hand-cut & breaded to order ribeye with green beans and mashed potatoes .

The meatloaf was presented beautifully and it tasted as good as it looked. The meatloaf was moist and flavorful with the perfect blend of spices. The whipped potatoes and onion rings were the perfect accompaniment to this delicious meatloaf.

The Chicken Fired Ribeye was tender and had a great batter and delicious scratch made cream gravy. The green beans that came with it were so amazing I couldn’t stop eating them!

Our overall experience was amazing and the prices are affordable for the quality of the food and atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu!

The next time you are in the League City, a stop into Main Street Bistro is a must!
